The two main conferences in emergency medicine that are held in India are EMCON (National Conference in EM) and INTEM (International Conference)

The Society of Emergency Medicine, India (SEMI) has been hosting the EMCON since 1999 which was its first.

The first INTEM was held in 2002 and the second is scheduled to be held in November this year.
