The 7th National Conference of Emergency Medicine (EMCON 2005) was held at Christian Medical college, Vellore, Tamil Nadu on October 26th to 28th, 2005.

The theme was "Critical Decisions in Emergency Medicine".

The first-ever Workshop for Emergency Nurses and Paramedics was conducted here.

Dr. Suresh S. David, Professor and Head, Department of Accident & Emergency Medicine, CMC, Vellore was the organising secretary.
